About the film

CAMEO is a surreal, comedic short blending Sora 2 AI video generation with real-world footage. It was built around OpenAI’s Sora 2 Cameo feature and explores the central question: what happens when your AI starts living a better life than you?

How it was made

This is a hybrid experiment — the AI-generated sequences were produced with OpenAI’s Sora 2, intercut with live-action performance footage shot by Tim. The Cameo feature drove the concept: a meditation on story, performance, and where the prompt meets the actor.

CAMEO is part of an ongoing deep dive into AI-assisted filmmaking and what hybrid production — human performance alongside machine-generated imagery — can actually look like.
